HOW TO SAY THIS DEVOTION

It is absolutely essential that every individual take charge of their own Salvation today. Just going along with the crowd, and not actively taking part a relationship of Life and Love with Our Holy Mother and Jesus will lead to horrible, irreversible consequences. The culture that we live in has drifted so far away from what pleases God, thus creating a situation whereby what is needed most is a devotion for individuals to have access, and to actively take part in a relationship of Life and Love in the Immaculate Heart of Mary. At this time in history, Our Lady of the Cathedral of Love is presenting to us Her Heart, and also a devotion which will lead us to a wonderful Life of Love with Our Holy Mother and Jesus.

The following is a basic step by step to Life in the Immaculate Heart: 1) place ourselves in the Immaculate Heart of Mary every day by saying the “Taking My Place Prayer” (see below) 2) adopting Mary as our uninterrupted close companion, 3) participate in a Dialogue of Love with our Precious Mother and Jesus, 4) turn our backs on the sinful culture, 5) make it our ultimate goal to live in the Cathedral of Love at all times, and 6) be a recipient of Jesus’s powerful Love.

Practicing this devotion, and receiving Our Holy Mother’s assistance to help us with our everyday problems and difficulties will be our blueprint for being victorious. Beginning this devotion, and implementing these steps will bring much happiness to Our Holy Mother’s Heart, and also it will bring exceptional joy and satisfaction to our life. Our precious Mother has a special place for each of us in Her Heart. The only thing that is required from us is a sincere heart, and a solid and honest effort every day; and then we can count on Our Holy Mother to help us with the rest. What sets this devotion apart from others is that it is a devotion of companionship with Our Precious Mother, where we participate in an every day Dialogue of Love with Her. Putting into practice this devotion is a safe and secure way to be received into the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It is also the pathway to becoming a Child of the Cathedral of Love where we are united to Jesus and enjoy a wonderful relationship with Him.

To begin the devotion, say the first prayer in the prayer card below, which is entitled “Taking My Place Prayer” upon awakening every day. By placing ourselves we begin each day within the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and also by reciting this prayer, we begin the day's conversations with her. This is how we set out together each day with Mary to take on the challenges that we will face.

The second prayer in the prayer card is called “Delighting in the Cathedral of Love Prayer.” This prayer is said throughout our busy day when we have the opportunity to do so. By reciting it we praise the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and we delight in the reality of making Mary’s Heart our home. Furthermore, by saying this prayer we maintain an attitude of thanksgiving which gives us strength. Throughout the course of the day we deal with the stuff of our daily life from within her Immaculate Heart.

As part of this devotion, in addition to saying the “Taking My Place Prayer,” it is recommended the we take time to say at least one chaplet of the Holy Rosary every day. It is also suggested that Holy Scripture (A version earlier than 1970) is read along with the lives of the saints, and also pray a Chaplet of the Cathedral of Love. Growing in love never ends within the Immaculate Heart of Mary, where we unite ourselves with Jesus in the Cathedral of Love.

Showing Love to Jesus through small Sacrifices

There are many ways we can show Jesus our love, but an all important way is practicing small sacrifices. When we offer a sacrifice in the Immaculate Heart of Mary we are suffering in Jesus and with Him. When we offer up a sacrifice, we can unite our suffering with Jesus’s on the Cross. Furthermore as we suffer our sacrifice, we are given the option to request that our suffering be use in such a way to take on His suffering that He suffered on the Cross. Sharing in the sufferings that Jesus experienced during His passion is assuming the role of Simon of Cyrene, who helped Him carry His Cross. Jesus loves it when we share in His sufferings. He is even more consoled if we take His suffering upon ourselves, and replacing that suffering that He experienced during His passion, with our Love. What we are doing in effect, is consoling Jesus’s Heart by professing our Love for Him as we are experiencing the suffering He had to endure. In this way we are participating in His Passion with Him, and all the while giving Him much consolation with our Love. Giving Jesus consolation during His Passion is greatly needed today because it brings much Sanctifying Grace for ourselves and others. Sanctifying Grace is instrumental in cleansing our hearts, and our sin.

When we do sacrifices for others, praying the Most Holy Rosary is the sacrifice of choice. By praying the Rosary we can provide those whom we are praying for, with sanctifying grace, and special graces from the Immaculate Heart of Mary. As children of the Cathedral of Love we can make up for the sins and offenses to Jesus of a particular person by praying our Rosary for them. In praying it for them, we make up for their sins and offenses against Jesus. Our Precious Mother, is very near to her children who are interceding for her children. As we intercede, she presents our sacrifice to Jesus, thus releasing Sanctifying Grace. Our Precious Mother will dispense the graces obtained to help her child that we are praying for through Her Immaculate Heart. The special graces that Our Precious Mother dispenses are graces will greatly help her child. Our Holy Mother is interested is saving all of her children through her Immaculate Heart, and she is welcoming all Her children to help her in this way. It is satisfying for us to know that we are working in conjunction with Our Holy Mother, helping her to bring much needed special graces to her children. Furthermore, Our Precious Mother lavishes much affection on those children who help her in this way.

Here is a prayer that we can say when offering a sacrifice for someone by using the Most Holy Rosary:

I offer this decade to you, My Precious Mother, in reparation, to make up for the sins and offenses

against Jesus for: (the person’s Name). It is my intention that through my sacrifice that (the person’s

Name) will receive sanctifying Grace and special graces from the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.

Keep in mind that our Precious Mother draws close to her children while they are interceding. In fact, She is very near by presenting our sacrifices to Jesus as we say our Rosary. Jesus is always very consoled by receiving sacrifices from his Mother on our behalf. The result of this is that we can expect to receive much affection from Jesus, Himself. Sanctifying Grace is also a powerful tool against the power of the devil. At this particular time, the intensity of the fury of the evil one is greatly increased.

Practicing sacrifices is an important way to stay spiritually healthy. Sanctifying Grace provides for us apostolic zeal, or in other words it empowers to live victoriously.

Lastly, our sacrifices bring much needed Mercy and Grace to help a very sinful generation. Because of the high degree of offenses against Jesus, this sinful generation is under the decree of Judgment. Remember that we, being born during this time, are “end-time Catholics,” and because this is so, more is going to be required from us. As end-time Catholics, we have to rise to the occasion of the problems that we are faced with. It is required of us to play an active role to help our brothers and sisters to find their way to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Here is a small list of recommended sacrifices:

  • Praying a Chaplet of the Rosary for one of Mary’s Children.
  • A nocturnal prayer hour from 2:30—3:30 am every night.
  • Bread and water only, on Saturdays.
  • Nothing by mouth Monday through Fridays from 12 noon to 3 pm.
  • Offering thirst, Jesus suffered thirst on the Cross.
  • Reducing our sleep to only 6 hrs a night.
  • Complete abstinence from wine and liquor.
  • Complete abstinence from deserts.

DIALOGUE OF LOVE WITH OUR PRECIOUS MOTHER

Saying the “taking my place” prayer is how we begin our day, and our Dialogue of Love with Our Precious Mother. Know that she looks forward to us say saying the “take my place prayer,” in fact she is present waiting for us to begin the prayer. From this time onward we must feel free to discuss our plans of the day with Her. Include the difficulties that we anticipate encountering, and also we can ask for Her blessing on the day or for particular matter. Be at peace because Our Holy Mother is delighted when we open up ourselves to Her. As part of opening ourselves up to Her it is important to get in touch with the problems that we have with ourselves; the ones that we carry around every day. It is good to give voice these difficulties and discuss them with Our Holy Mother. Speak freely and give all the details, and then listen carefully. As we live and grow with Our Precious Mother we become to know Her very well. Our heart and soul and Hers become familiar with one another, and it is in this familiarity that she speaks to us, and this is how we know what she wants from us. She wants very much to be included in on every aspect of our lives. Dialogging with Our Precious Mother may seem difficult at first, but be at ease, because Our Holy Mother loves us, and cherishes our company, and especially our conversation. She is understanding, nonjudgmental, and her disposition is one of Peace and Love. She is our true Mother and we have everything to gain by working at Dialogging in Love with Her.

You have been dialogging with Our Lady for some time, and you are experiencing what seems to be a one-sided relationship, what do I do? Everyone’s personality and temperament is different, but here is something you can try. The answer may be a simple adjustment on your part, and essentially what it comes down to is the softening of your heart. Remember always that Our Precious Mother’s heart will draw close, and listen to a heart that has been softened by Love. To soften our heart we must spend time with Her in prayer, and when we do so, it is important that we open ourself to receive the Love that comes from Her Heart. It is during this time when our heart remains open to Hers, that our heart learns how to love as She Loves. Now that our heart is beginning to understand Her Love, it softens. It is through this process of softening that She is now able draw close. Furthermore, as our heart grows in Her likeness, dialogging becomes easier, and more frequent. Speaking with Our Precious Mother is always a happy, and anticipated event that we have the privilege of enjoying throughout our every day.
