A Beautiful Way to Use the Rosary for the Purposes of Making Restitution for Sins

There is an enormous need today for Mary’s children to take it upon themselves the practice of making restitution for sins. And the reason for this, of course, is that we live in times that are exceedingly sinful. Our Mother is proposing the following method which She loves, that involves doing reparation using the most Holy Rosary. And, Her invitation goes out to all of Her children to participate.

       This method of making reparation involves showing Love for Jesus’s Sacred Wounds and this is performed while reciting the Sorrowful Mysteries. You will need an image of the Jesus Crucified to perform this beautiful gesture of reparation. The above image is a good one because the Sacred Shoulder Wound, the Sacred Wound in the Side, and the Sacred Wound in the Esophagus are fully visible.

       This method of reparation involves praying the Sorrowful Mysteries in the standard way by announcing the Mystery and the intention, before you begin recitation of each decade. And then as you say each very devout Hail Mary you place it inside one of the Sacred Wounds of Jesus Crucified. When each Hail Mary is placed inside the Sacred Wound, the sin or sins that are the cause of the Sacred Wound, are made restitution for. Jesus Loves this because you are taking special care of His Sacred Wounds, by replacing offenses committed by His children with beautiful salutations to His Holy Mother. This way of showing loving compassion for His Sacred Wounds, extracts the poison of sins committed against Him with the purpose of bringing relief to his Wounds—even to the point of trying to cure them. Needless to say that this method is a wonderful way to bring much love and consolation to Jesus and also to His Mother who loves Him so much. 

       The intention of each decade can be for a priest, friend, or family member, or you may recite the decade in this way for “one of Mary’s children.” By making restitution for sins, we are participating in the canceling of the debt of sin, so that those whom we pray for may resume their Life in Divine Love inside the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
